The Sand Ixupi is best described as a living pile of sand, with a menacing face, and a mouth full of sharp teeth. Surely a horrific sight when a mouth full of sharp teeth come lunging at you.
Known hiding spotsEdit
One will most likely encounter this Ixupi is in one of two rooms. The first place is a mound of sand in the Strange Plants room. The second location to find this Ixupi will be in the Mysteries of the Deep room, in the sand replica of Posidon's Palace.
Signs of IxupiEdit
The usual background noise is drowned out by the sound of shifting sand. This sound is usually out of place since it would take large amounts of moving sand to generate it.
As with some other Ixupi, the difficult part is finding the two halves of the vessel. As always, the two halves are hidden in various locations in the museum. Once assembled, the easy part, or difficult part, is going to the right hiding spot. It is possible that if you check one hiding spot, the Ixupi will jump to the other. Luckily, there is only one room to pass through between the two locations.
Loose in the worldEdit
If the Sand Ixupi had been able to get loose, the possible hiding spots are either too harsh, or too horrifying to consider. If the Ixupi is worried about recapture, the deserts are likely. If not, the beaches and sandboxes everywhere would have become killing fields.
